homeSOME 23 Algecirans have lost their jobs after the new contractor for the city’s Home Help Service failed to renew their contracts.

The news comes despite previous assurances from the current PP government that things would continue as normal.

“The promises of normality made by the mayor of the PP, announced in the municipal plenary, have been another falsehood that joins the long list of their unfulfilled commitments,” said Socialist municipal spokesman Fernando Silva.
