VINCENT Van Gogh is set to be brought back to life through a play about the legendary Dutch painter at Gibraltar’s Spring Festival.
Van Gogh in Provence will be performed at The Charles Hunt Room, John Mackintosh Hall on May 25.
The theatre company Group 2000 and its director Cecil Gomez are working alongside Gibraltar Cultural Services on the production.
Van Gogh spent over two years in France searching for the ‘Southern light’, which features prominently in his work, including Sunflowers.
Tickets are priced £3 and are on sale from Tuesday May 2 at John Mackintosh Hall between 9am and 4:30pm.
