DEVELOPERS have been issued with strict instructions on how tall buildings can be anywhere on the Rock.
The new plan makes it clear exactly how high developments can be in order to meet the airport’s safety regulations.
It has been presented to the Development and Planning Commission by Civil Aviation chief Chris Purkiss.
Gibraltar has its own ‘bespoke safety plan’ to limit buildings within Gibraltar but which doesn’t stop developers maximising the use of the areas, said Purkiss.
It provides firm guidelines for developers to know how tall a building can be anywhere on the Rock.
An interactive map allows developers to press a button to see how high a building can be built.
