A PROBE into beleaguered financial services company STM Group has been put on hold after they launched an appeal.
The Gibraltar Supreme Court will now decide on January 22 whether they will enforce the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission’s ruling to allow inspectors access to the firm.
The Gibraltar-based company has been accused of not abiding by compliance regulations.
STM’s application for the hearing to be held behind closed doors was rejected with the Supreme Court arguing privacy should only be granted in exceptional circumstances.
The Gibraltar Olive Press contacted STM Group but they were unavailable for comment.
