GIBRALTARIAN artists have been invited to submit their artwork to a special anniversary exhibition organised by the Royal Academy of Art in London.
This year’s Royal Academy Summer Exhibition is the 250th since its conception and its theme will be ‘Art Made Now’, exploring the diversity of modern art.
Artists have been invited to submit digital images of their artwork by February 14 for a first round of assessment.
Any local artists who qualify for the second round of assessment will have to send the original copy of their work to the UK.
The Gibraltar Cultural Services has agreed to fund the cost of transporting art work.
The Summer Exhibition will be chaired by Grayson Perry and will run from June 12 to August 19.
