Red letter day! Gibraltarian students invited to enter UN writing competition

The theme of the contest is “Imagine you are a letter travelling through time. What message do you wish to convey to your readers?”

SCHOOLCHILDREN in Gibraltar have been invited to show off their creative talent by entering a United Nations letter writing competition.

Children up to the age of 15 can submit their entries on the theme of “Imagine you are a letter travelling through time. What message do you wish to convey to your readers?”

The United Nations’ Universal Postal Union is offering a number of prizes to the best entries, with 1st place receiving £300 and a trophy.

Anna Grench, of Westside Comprehensive School was awarded a Special Mention Certificate for her entry in 2016.
