GIBRALTAR has enhanced its reputation as being at the very forefront of the online business revolution by hosting the Commonwealth Telecommunications Conference.
The two-day conference, held at the University of Gibraltar, is on ‘The Data Revolution, Maximising Opportunities and Managing Risks’.
The convention discussed how a business can maintain its privacy and security despite evolving threats from data sharing.
“On the concept of what is happening with data in the world we need to be at the forefront,” Sir Joe Bossano told the press.
“Technology has given us the ability to analyse data in a volume and at a speed that was not possible before the computer age.”
Over 50 overseas delegates attended the conference.
